Brewery offers six house crafted beers on tap. All of which are manufactured in our 14 barrel in-house brewery visible
from the dining room.
All of the beers brewed at Rafters use premium
ingredients. We do not fine, filter, or force carbonate our beer. It is an
all-natural product devoid of chemicals or

American Lager: |
A crisp
golden, premium American lager brewed with
Pilsner malt and German Hallertauer hops.
More flavorful than your standard domestic, but
not as hoppy as a pilsner. (4.5% ABV) |

Hefeweizen: |
American
unfiltered wheat beer made of 50% malted barley
and 50% malted wheat with light German hop
flavors. Light and clean without the
fruity flavors of German wheat beers.

Pale
Ale: |
An
American pale ale, light amber in color with a
light malt flavor and dry-hopped with Cascade
hops. Dry and smooth with a light hop
bite. (5.5% ABV) |

India
Pale Ale: |
A
Pacific Northwest-style IPA with 60 Bitterness
Units and a big hop flavor from a generous dry
hopping with Columbus, Cascade, and Chinook
hops. Definitely for the hop-head.

Amber: |
Dark
red American amber with strong malt flavors
including toffee, caramel, and light roasted
bitterness. Lightly sweet and bitter, a
good middle-of-the-road beer. (6.0% ABV) |

Dan Duncanson, Brewmaster
Dan was born in Minnesota and raised in San
Jose, CA. He started home brewing while
studying biology at UC Davis. At age 21 he
began working at Brew It Up! where he learned
the art of brewing award winning ales and
lagers. After graduation Dan worked as an
environmental biologist in Auburn, CA while
continuing to home-brew and develop his
appreciation for craft beer styles. In
2005 Dan began working at San Francisco Brewing
Company as the production brewer. In
February 2006 he took on role of Brewmaster at
Rafters giving this brewpub a reputation for
quality house crafted brews! |
